The RX70TI / RX71TI are Ex Incremental Encoders available in an explosionproof design with an explosion-proof enclosure.

RX70: Aluminium version.

RX71: Stainless steel version.

The encoders are available for applications under tough environmental conditions, with the stainless-steel RX71 version also available for the food industry.

Ex Classification

The RX70/71 meets the requirements specified in the EC-Type Examination Certificate PTB 10 ATEX 1036 X and is approved for explosive areas according to the following classifications:

Ex II 2 G Ex db IIC T6 Gb and Ex II 2 D Ex tb IIIC T85°C Db

Ex II 2 G Ex db IIC T4 Gb and Ex II 2 D Ex tb IIIC T135°C Db

The encoder is additionally certified according to IECEx standards under certification IECEx PTB 12.0002X.
