The CAP-ENV Series is designed for safe and reliable infrared inspection of energized electrical equipment. Its reinforced, environmentally sealed construction provides a large, clear IR viewing area, allowing thermal cameras to inspect internal components without opening electrical enclosures.
Unlike conventional round IR windows, the CAP-ENV Series offers a larger rectangular viewing area for a wider field of view. Its reinforced polymer optic supports visual, UV, midwave IR, and longwave IR inspection, making it suitable for a wide range of electrical inspection requirements.
Built with a stainless-steel body, the CAP-ENV Series is particularly well suited for demanding outdoor environments.

Construction & Environmental Protection
The series features a powder-coated stainless-steel body, 316 stainless-steel hardware and an IP67 / NEMA 6 environmental rating. It is designed to operate across a wide temperature range of approximately -40°C to 273°C (523°F).
The viewing optic uses a UL 746 compliant, visual, UV and IR-transmissive polymer, supported by a stainless-steel reinforcing grill for additional protection.

Using the patented Poly-View System™, the VPT Series allows thermography cameras to perform inspections across the infrared spectrum while also supporting visual and UV inspections. Its clear polymer optic provides a versatile viewing solution for electrical inspection applications.
The industrial-grade window incorporates a reinforced protective grill designed to exceed the viewing-pane requirements used for high-voltage switchgear.

Construction & Environmental Rating
The VPT Series features an IP67 / NEMA 6 environmental rating and uses switchgear-grade materials, including UL 94 5VA nylon, aluminum components and 316 stainless-steel hardware. The windows are designed for an operating temperature range of -40°C to 110°C (230°F).
The Poly-View™ optic is a UL 746 compliant polymer that transmits visual, UV and IR wavelengths. An aluminum reinforcing grill provides additional protection for the optic.

Environmentally Sealed Wide-Angle Infrared Inspection Window
The IRISS VP-12-IR Series is a compact infrared inspection window developed for areas where installation space is limited or where infrared cameras with smaller, wide-angle lenses are being used.
Despite its compact design, the VP-12-IR provides reliable protection and inspection capability. Its polymer optic and switchgear-grade construction maintain an IP67 / NEMA 6 environmental seal, whether the window is open or closed.
Its small footprint makes it particularly useful for accessing difficult-to-reach areas of electrical equipment, allowing thermographers to inspect equipment where a larger inspection window may not be practical.

IRISS QwikFit-IR
Modular Infrared Inspection Window for Electrical Panels
The IRISS QwikFit-IR is a compact infrared inspection solution developed for electrical panelboards where breaker load-side connections may be difficult or impossible to access for thermal inspection.
Designed as a replacement for the standard blanking plate used with small-frame breakers, the QwikFit-IR provides a dedicated infrared viewing point without requiring major modifications to the electrical enclosure. It is designed for Square D™ I-Line combo and distribution panelboards and can be installed by simply snapping it into place.
