8208-XP Ex-Proof Scanner

The Masibus 8208-XP is a compact multi-channel scanner specially designed for hazardous industrial environments. It is available in 4- or 8-channel configurations, with universal inputs that can handle different sensor and signal types.

Each unit includes four programmable relays that can be assigned for alarms, trips, or control functions. Users can configure the device directly from the front panel using touch-sensitive keys, making operation and setup straightforward.

The scanner also supports RS485 communication with Modbus RTU, enabling remote monitoring and integration with systems such as PLC, DCS, DAS, and SCADA. Optional analog retransmission provides additional flexibility for industrial system integration.

Designed for demanding applications, the 8208-XP is suitable for chemical plants, oil & gas facilities, petrochemical industries, pharmaceutical applications, gas compressors, mining equipment, gas detection, and fire detection systems.
